A worker may be represented by a business, a firm, or another person. <\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE: <\/strong><\/span>Conditions relating to deadlines may vary rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint under Section 19 of the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb97df9 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" reprisals<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-901d180 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"901d180\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Workers may file a complaint if they feel that reprisals have been taken against them because they exercised a right provided for in the Pay Equity Act.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc5a482 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fc5a482\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Workers who have exercised their rights under the Pay Equity Act may face reprisals from their employer.<\/p><p>Workers who have been threatened, had their salary reduced, or been dismissed after filing a complaint, they may seek recourse.<\/p><p>The complaint must be filed <strong>within 30 days<\/strong> of the reprisal.<\/p><p>A worker may be represented by a business, a firm, or another person. Union members may seek assistance from their union. <\/p><p>The CNESST will review the complaint, and if it is accepted, it will be referred to the Administrative Labour Tribunal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bddd224 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"bddd224\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-82bfe4b e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"82bfe4b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d7771bd elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d7771bd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Complaints regarding prohibited conduct<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-116e8a8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"116e8a8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\"><strong>If the worker feels that they have experienced prohibited conduct during pay equity work, they may file a complaint.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bc8eaaf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bc8eaaf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">During the pay equity work, the employer, the certified association or the committee members may commit acts prohibited by the Pay Equity Act. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Prohibited conduct may be: <\/p><p class=\"p1\">-Bad faith, such as deliberately obstructing the objectives of the Act;
