with them, to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6d49816e elementor-widget specific risks that must be identified, analyzed and prioritized.<\/p><p>There are six types of risk:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Chemical <\/strong>(e.g. working around hazardous gases such as carbon monoxide or smoke);<\/li><li><strong>Biological<\/strong> (e.g. exposure to microorganisms in dust, mist, decaying materials, etc.);<\/li><li><strong>Ergonomic<\/strong> (e.g. repetitive movements, sustained, awkward postures);<\/li><li><strong>Safety-related<\/strong> (e.g. confined spaces or moving machine parts);<\/li><li><strong>Physical<\/strong> (e.g. noise, temperature, pressure);<\/li><li><strong>Psychosocial <\/strong>(e.g. harassment or exposure to potentially traumatic events)<\/li><\/ul><p>These risks must be ranked according to their severity and likelihood in order to develop an appropriate prevention plan.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c86f324 elementor-position-inline-start data-id=\"2036a84f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Working in hot or cold environments can be hazardous to health, even fatal in certain circumstances. If you think you have frostbite, call 811. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">While awaiting advice from health professionals, get out of the cold, remove wet or damp clothing and apply lukewarm water to the affected area in the case of superficial frostbite.
