Apr\u00e8s l\u2019autorisation faite aux \u00e9tudiants \u00e9trangers de travailler plus de 20\u00a0heures par semaines hors campus, c\u2019est au tour des travailleurs \u00e9trangers temporaires de voir leur permis prendre une dimension in\u00e9dite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Le 27\u00a0juin 2023, le ministre de l\u2019Immigration f\u00e9d\u00e9ral Sean Fraser annon\u00e7ait l\u2019entr\u00e9e en vigueur imm\u00e9diate d\u2019une mesure leur permettant de s\u2019inscrire \u00e0 un programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes d\u2019une dur\u00e9e sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 6\u00a0mois, \u00e0 temps plein ou \u00e0 temps partiel, sans qu\u2019il leur soit demand\u00e9 d\u2019obtenir au pr\u00e9alable un permis d\u2019\u00e9tudes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Cette mesure temporaire sera valide 3\u00a0ans, soit jusqu\u2019au 27\u00a0juin 2026, au Qu\u00e9bec, comme dans le reste du Canada. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Par cons\u00e9quent, les travailleurs temporaires pourront suivre des formations et des cours pour compl\u00e9ter leurs comp\u00e9tences et les aider dans leur carri\u00e8re. Une mesure qui, selon Immigration, R\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et Citoyennet\u00e9 Canada (IRCC), pourrait les aider \u00e0 compl\u00e9ter leurs comp\u00e9tences, les aider dans leur carri\u00e8re et les soutenir dans leur int\u00e9gration \u2014 \u00e9ventuellement jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la r\u00e9sidence permanente. De fait, les TET gagnent ici la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019augmenter significativement leur niveau de scolarit\u00e9, en vue d\u2019\u00e9voluer professionnellement et d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir de nouvelles exp\u00e9riences de travail.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><span>D\u00e9terminer le moment \u00e0 partir duquel un permis d\u2019\u00e9tudes sera requis pour poursuivre sa formation<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Deux cas de figure vont se pr\u00e9senter, selon que la situation des personnes concern\u00e9es en date du 7\u00a0juin 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Les personnes qui ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une demande ou obtenu un permis de travail valide <strong>avant le 7\u00a0juin 2023<\/strong> peuvent ainsi \u00e9tudier jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la premi\u00e8re des \u00e9ch\u00e9ances suivantes\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>la fin de leur permis, ou<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>la date d\u2019expiration de la politique d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat public (27\u00a0juin 2026). <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Les personnes qui ont demand\u00e9 ou obtenu un permis de travail <strong>apr\u00e8s le 7\u00a0juin 2023<\/strong> peuvent \u00e9tudier jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la premi\u00e8re des \u00e9ch\u00e9ances suivantes\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>la fin de la prorogation de leur permis de travail,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>la date \u00e0 laquelle leur demande de prorogation est refus\u00e9e, ou<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>jusqu\u2019au au 27\u00a0juin 2026. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span>Les personnes dont la demande de permis de travail ou de prorogation a \u00e9t\u00e9 refus\u00e9e ou qui souhaitent suivre un programme d\u2019une dur\u00e9e sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle de ces dates doivent demander un permis d\u2019\u00e9tudes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/fr\/immigration-refugies-citoyennete\/services\/travailler-canada\/permis\/temporaire\/travailleurs-etudes-sans-permis-etudes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pour acc\u00e9der aux d\u00e9tails de la politique d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat public<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/fr\/immigration-refugies-citoyennete\/nouvelles\/2023\/06\/nouvelles-mesures-visant-les-travailleurs-etrangers-qui-cherchent-a-ameliorer-leurs-competences.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pour acc\u00e9der au communiqu\u00e9 d\u2019IRCC<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Photo : Samantha Hentosh<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>C\u2019est une petite r\u00e9volution.
