Le faible co\u00fbt de la vie et des droits de scolarit\u00e9 plus bas qu\u2019ailleurs, les activit\u00e9s culturelles vari\u00e9es, sans compter un taux de criminalit\u00e9 parmi les plus bas en Am\u00e9rique du Nord sont des facteurs qui comptent quand vient le temps de choisir sa destination d\u2019\u00e9tudes<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n<h2>Une majorit\u00e9 de francophones<\/h2>\n<p>Le Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche rapporte qu\u2019en 2013, 53 % des \u00e9tudiants \u00e9trangers provenaient de la francophonie. Niko Likongo, responsable du bureau des \u00e9tudiants internationaux nous donne plus de pr\u00e9cision concernant l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. \u00ab <em>Pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2016-2017, 5 000 \u00e9tudiants internationaux provenant de 112 pays diff\u00e9rents \u00e9taient inscrits \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. Pr\u00e8s de 60 % \u2013 environ 3 000 \u00e9tudiants \u2013 sont originaires de France. Les deuxi\u00e8me, troisi\u00e8me et quatri\u00e8me pays avec la plus forte repr\u00e9sentation au sein de la population des \u00e9tudiants \u00e9trangers sont la Chine (213 \u00e9tudiants repr\u00e9sentant 4 % de la population), le Maroc (125 \u00e9tudiants repr\u00e9sentant 2,5 % de la population) et la Tunisie (101 \u00e9tudiants repr\u00e9sentant 2 % de la population) \u00bb, avance-t-il.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Selon le bureau de coop\u00e9ration interuniversitaire, l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Universit\u00e9 McGill<\/a> est l\u2019universit\u00e9 qui compte le plus grand nombre d\u2019\u00e9tudiants \u00e9trangers, suivis de l\u2019U<a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/fr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">niversit\u00e9 Concordia<\/a> et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n<h2>Un choix vari\u00e9 de dipl\u00f4mes<\/h2>\n<p>Certains \u00e9tudiants choisissent de faire leur cursus universitaire au Qu\u00e9bec du 1er au 3e cycle, certains ont commenc\u00e9 dans leur pays d\u2019origine et viennent terminer leur th\u00e8se ou doctorat.
