Une tradition insolite et typiquement nordique qui consiste \u00e0 p\u00eacher le poisson \u00e0 travers la glace. La p\u00eache blanche se pratique sur n\u2019importe quelle couche glac\u00e9e d\u2019eau (lac, fleuve, rivi\u00e8re\u2026) et est une activit\u00e9 populaire et familiale au Qu\u00e9bec. L&rsquo;origine de cette p\u00eache proviendrait vraisemblablement des <strong>Am\u00e9rindiens<\/strong>, et plus particuli\u00e8rement des <strong>Algonquins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Comment se d\u00e9roule une partie de p\u00eache sur glace\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Bien \u00e9videmment, il faut avant tout s\u2019assurer que <strong>la couche de glace sur l\u2019eau soit suffisamment \u00e9paisse<\/strong> avant de s\u2019y aventurer. Ensuite, il existe plusieurs techniques pour percer un trou \u00e0 travers la glace\u00a0: la technique traditionnelle qui consiste \u00e0 creuser \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une longue barre de m\u00e9tal et la technique plus rapide et moderne en utilisant une perceuse \u00e0 glace (une sorte de foreuse motoris\u00e9e ou manuelle). Il faut ensuite pr\u00e9parer son mat\u00e9riel pour attraper le poisson. Eh oui, ce n\u2019est pas parce que l\u2019eau est glac\u00e9e en surface que la faune et la flore ont cess\u00e9 toute activit\u00e9 en dessous. Au contraire, si vous choisissez bien votre endroit, vous allez \u00eatre surpris du nombre de poissons que vous allez pouvoir p\u00eacher\u00a0! Pr\u00e9parez donc votre ligne en attachant un ou plusieurs hame\u00e7ons \u00e0 un fil que vous pouvez lester d\u2019un poids pour faciliter la descente dans l\u2019eau. Ne pas oublier l\u2019app\u00e2t sur chaque hame\u00e7on (sinon pas de poisson\u00a0!) : par exemple des petits poissons-app\u00e2ts appel\u00e9s men\u00e9. Ensuite, attachez le fil \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de bascule avec une clochette (appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0brimbale\u00a0\u00bb au Qu\u00e9bec) qui vous avertira quand le poisson sera accroch\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019hame\u00e7on. Enfin, il ne vous reste plus qu\u2019\u00e0 d\u00e9guster votre poisson fra\u00eechement p\u00each\u00e9 en papillote ou au barbecue\u00a0! Pour plus de confort (l\u2019attente peut \u00eatre longue et p\u00e9nible sous la neige et par -20 degr\u00e9s\u00a0!), sachez que des centres de p\u00eache proposent la location de <strong>cabanes \u00e0 p\u00eache en bois<\/strong> pos\u00e9es sur la glace. Ces petites cabanes poss\u00e8dent une ouverture dans le plancher pour acc\u00e9der directement \u00e0 la glace.
