Et ce, m\u00eame si le candidat est sur place et que sa candidature n\u2019implique pas de faire des entretiens \u00e0 distance. Les recruteurs n\u2019assument pas toujours cette posture-l\u00e0, mais c\u2019est une r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"FR\">Pourquoi une entreprise peut-elle rechigner \u00e0 embaucher un \u00e9tranger\u2009?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, c\u2019est une question de\u00ab\u2009fit\u2009\u00bbculturel. Les recruteurs craignent que le candidat n\u2019ait pas la \u00ab\u2009culture qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise\u2009\u00bb d\u2019entreprise et que \u00e7a ne fonctionne pas avec l\u2019\u00e9quipe. C\u2019est surtout le cas des petites compagnies francophones de type PME.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"FR\">Y a-t-il parfois un probl\u00e8me de m\u00e9connaissance du niveau r\u00e9el de la personne\u2009?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">Effectivement, parfois le recruteur ne sait pas trop \u00e0 qui il a \u00e0 faire. Il ne va pas reconna\u00eetre le nom des entreprises sur le CV, et ne va pas forc\u00e9ment se donner la peine de les appeler pour en savoir plus. C\u2019est la raison pour laquelle on voit de plus en plus de gens mettre entre parenth\u00e8ses l\u2019\u00e9quivalent qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de telle ou telle compagnie sur leur CV.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">D\u2019ailleurs, je conseillerais vraiment \u00e0 tout le monde de faire la m\u00eame chose pour les dipl\u00f4mes. Si vous avez l\u2019\u00e9quivalent d\u2019un bac ou d\u2019une ma\u00eetrise qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise, il faut l\u2019expliciter. C\u2019est aussi une mani\u00e8re de voir que la personne a fait ses recherches. C\u2019est une preuve de s\u00e9rieux.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">Il faut bien comprendre que souvent, il y a plus de candidats qui appliquent de l\u2019\u00e9tranger que de candidats locaux. Donc pour se d\u00e9marquer, c\u2019est bien d\u2019adopter ce genre de r\u00e9flexes. De m\u00eame, \u00e7a vaut la peine d\u2019appeler directement les responsables du recrutement de la compagnie pour cr\u00e9er de l\u2019action, montrer qu\u2019on est pr\u00e9sent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"FR\">Pour se faire embaucher au Qu\u00e9bec, vaut-il mieux \u00eatre sur place\u2009?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">\u00c0 moins que ce soit un poste super sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9, auquel cas il est possible de se faire recruter \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, il vaut toujours mieux chercher un emploi sur place, id\u00e9alement avec un permis de travail ouvert ou, mieux encore, une r\u00e9sidence permanente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"FR\">Peut-il arriver que des employeurs refusent d\u2019embaucher le titulaire d\u2019un permis de travail temporaire, pour ce motif\u2009?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">Honn\u00eatement, c\u2019est un cas vraiment rare. Il peut arriver qu\u2019une compagnie ne veuille pas miser sur quelqu\u2019un qui va ou a des chances de repartir. Mais en ce moment, on est en telle p\u00e9riode de p\u00e9nurie de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre que, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, les employeurs sont ouverts, surtout dans le secteur des technologies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"FR\">Identifiez-vous d\u2019autres freins au recrutement de personnes \u00e9trang\u00e8res\u2009?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">La communication peut \u00eatre un frein. Si on a de la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 comprendre un candidat, c\u2019est s\u00fbr que \u00e7a complique les choses. \u00c7a peut engendrer des entrevues tr\u00e8s courtes. Donc je conseille vraiment au candidat de bien pratiquer le fran\u00e7ais ou l\u2019anglais avant, pour fluidifier l\u2019entrevue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"FR\">Autre chose, il faut avoir une exp\u00e9rience pertinente, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire avoir travaill\u00e9 sur un poste similaire pendant quelques ann\u00e9es. \u00c7a peut para\u00eetre logique, mais il arrive que des nouveaux arrivants, impatients de trouver un emploi, pr\u00e9sentent leur candidature sur une dizaine de postes dans la m\u00eame entreprise.
