Le C\u00c9LI propose de mettre de l\u2019argent de c\u00f4t\u00e9, \u00e0 son propre rythme, sans \u00eatre p\u00e9nalis\u00e9 par des pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements fiscaux. M\u00eame avec un faible investissement, le r\u00e9sultat apr\u00e8s quelques ann\u00e9es est surprenant.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Comment ouvrir un C\u00c9LI<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Majeur, r\u00e9sident fiscal et surtout titulaire d\u2019un num\u00e9ro d\u2019assurance sociale (NAS), vous pouvez ouvrir votre C\u00c9LI dans n\u2019importe quel \u00e9tablissement financier, sur simple pr\u00e9sentation des justificatifs requis. Il n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessaire de disposer d&rsquo;un salaire fixe : tout le monde peut y pr\u00e9tendre. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que vous pouvez choisir le type de C\u00c9LI auquel vous souhaitez souscrire, il est judicieux de prendre rendez-vous avec votre conseiller. Lui seul sera en mesure de vous proposer un portefeuille personnalis\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir dress\u00e9 un portrait de vos objectifs mais aussi de votre tol\u00e9rance au risque. Deux facteurs indispensables \u00e0 conna\u00eetre pour calculer vos futurs revenus.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>La flexibilit\u00e9, atout-ma\u00eetre du C\u00c9LI<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Vous n\u2019\u00eates pas tenu de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 des versements importants sur un C\u00c9LI. Vous seriez surpris de voir ce que peuvent rapporter un d\u00e9p\u00f4t fixe de 25 $ CAN par semaine au bout de seulement cinq ans. Cette \u00e9pargne est efficace mais elle est aussi flexible. Les montants et la fr\u00e9quence sont choisis par vos soins et vous pouvez les modifier \u00e0 votre guise. De plus, les droits de cotisation sont cumulatifs et ne se perdent pas : un nouveau droit de cotisation s\u2019ajoute chaque ann\u00e9e, dans la limite d&rsquo;un plafond qui peut varier d&rsquo;une ann\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre.Enfin, sachez que vous pouvez d\u00e9tenir diff\u00e9rents produits de placements dans votre CELI \u00e0 conditions que le plafond de cotisation ne soit pas d\u00e9pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Faire fructifier son C\u00c9LI<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mettre de l\u2019argent de c\u00f4t\u00e9, c\u2019est bien ; le faire fructifier, c\u2019est encore mieux. Si les sommes d\u00e9pos\u00e9es ne sont pas d\u00e9ductibles de vos imp\u00f4ts, vous pourrez toutefois retirer de l\u2019argent sans payer d\u2019imp\u00f4ts non plus. Pour autant, il est d\u00e9conseill\u00e9 de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 des retraits trop fr\u00e9quents. Pour commencer, plus vous retirerez d\u2019argent de votre C\u00c9LI, moins le solde g\u00e9n\u00e8rera de revenus. Ensuite, vous prendrez le risque de perdre le cours de vos op\u00e9rations et ainsi d\u00e9passer le d\u00e9p\u00f4t annuel autoris\u00e9, d\u00e9passement sur lequel vous devrez payer 1 % de p\u00e9nalit\u00e9s par mois. Prenons un exemple : vous avez d\u00e9pos\u00e9 7 000 $ en 2024 et d\u00e9cidez d\u2019en retirer 2 000 $ CAN pour partir en vacances. Vous devrez attendre 2025 pour proc\u00e9der \u00e0 nouveau d\u00e9p\u00f4t, puisque la somme prise en compte est calcul\u00e9e sur la base de ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9 sur le compte pendant toute l\u2019ann\u00e9e (7 000 $ CAN), pas ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9 (2 000 $ CAN).
